Drying furnaces are used for drying the goods before they enter the galvanizing bath. The drying process finishes the pre-treatment, which took place in liquid media and ended up with dipping the parts into flux.
Different designs of drying furnaces are available. The best type will be chosen acc. to shape and requested processing of the goods.
Typically heating of the dryers is effected by natural gas burners. Fans install a strong and homogenous atmosphere recirculation in order to achieve an even heating of the parts in the batch.
The drying furnace is integrated part of the production line and is adapted to the overall flow concept of the galvanizing workshop.
Drying furnaces are available with integrated transportation system or without. Recommendation for a specific system is depending on the condition on site and the intended production process details.
Galvanizing of Single Parts
Galvanizing furnace for high temperatureGalvanizing furnaces with ceramic bath area are used for galvanizing of small parts. They are available with natural gas and oil heating. The dimension can be adapted to the intended goods to be galvanized.
Galvanizing furnace with kettleGalvanizing furnaces with kettle are used for galvanizing of structural steel components of large dimension. They are available with natural gas, oil or electrical heating. The dimension can be adapted to the intended goods to be galvanized.
Hard zinc grabMost important tool for maintaining the galvanizing kettle is the hard zinc grab.
Zinc bath housingThe zinc bath housing collects all the fumes arising during dropping the goods into the liquid zinc.
